Mudskippers are fish that are specially adapted to life in mangrove forests and other tidal zones, as they can both swim and crawl on land and breathe. They use their powerful pectoral fins to move around on land and can absorb air through their skin and mucous membranes. Mangrove forests provide mudskippers with food and shelter.<\/p>\n
