The Mediterranean Sea is particularly rich in species, but also particularly threatened. Our friends at Artescienza and Menkab il respiro del mare are committed, like us, to the protection of this valuable habitat in Italy.

Their video series “Close to home” presents marine life in the Mediterranean in an educational and exciting way and raises awareness for its protection.

KYMA sea conservation & research supports this project with great pleasure, also because it is a good complement to our research and conservation activities in the Mediterranean Sea.
